I moved to Wisconsin after graduate school and had similar experience! I was talking to someone and they had a birthday in March. They said "My birthday is in March...the middle of winter!" I said "March..that is the beginning of Spring!" I had frost of my windshield in May...I stood corrected. Then, I remember my first October up there...it snowed on Oct 19! I thought "Oh #*$&! What have gotten myself into!" Get ready for a loooong winter, Tina!
