Daddy's Duties (generally taking care of Doodies)
I've been pretty involved in everything baby so far. Pre-birth a few of the things I did were: offering name suggestions (both serious and funny), going to visit a pediatrician pre-birth and deciding that it was not right for us even though it was 5 minutes from the house, "picking up" Tina at a baby shower at the designated time only to have the event go on for another 90 minutes, keeping Tina relaxed and comfortable throughout the pregnancy, coaching during labor and counting/encouraging during contractions, announcing in the delivery room that it was a girl!, and cutting the cord.
That stuff was a piece of cake compared to taking care of baby outside the womb! Diaper changes, feedings, comforting, holding, carrying, walking, burping, wiping, etc, etc, etc. So far it's been going pretty well and I have only been slightly irritable when getting up for a late night diaper change or feeding.
These are some of the better photos I've taken on my Blackberry since the birth. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Job Search is OVER!
No more boring temp work! I don't want to say exactly where I'll be working (for Internet privacy reasons), but I will say that if you haven't paid what you owe the government then you might hear from me. :)

Slight Change of Plans
Hopefully our luggage shows up later today so we can...get out the shorts and flip flops? Looks like we'll need to do some shopping!
Quotable quotes from last night:
Big Poke: "Those free tickets you got are mine."
The Mrs: "Grama said you are stranded in Chicago!"
Mitch: "I want two free tickets plus money."
Gate agent: "We don't negotiate, but here's two free tickets, a hotel voucher, and meal vouchers. Thanks for not being an ass about this." (Mitch, quite surprisingly, was not an ass)
Tina: "I've never needed a drink so bad in my life!"

News and Brews
-Tina is the proud recipient of 2 job offers! Way to go Tina! Stay tuned to find out if she will accept one, or if she turns both down to continue her days of lunching, shopping, napping, and blogging about sad boy bands.
-Dr. Martin reports that he passed his med exam. Congrats and watch for that gift certificate to the Silver Bullet in the mail.
-Mitch has been spending his free time at night watching the olympics, and respects Michael Phelps, even though he's a Michigan Wolverine.
Fifty Below Zero Brews Feed:
-Recently enjoyed brew: Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy
-Brew tip: do not store your brew at fifty below zero. It will either freeze or those of us from Fifty Below Zero will steal it out of your super cold beer igloo and drink it.
