I loved the "Gremlins" movies as a kid, but Mitch has never seen them. (Tragic, I know.) Gizmo is actually a play on her entire name, if you look closely. This, however, does not mean that we are now obsessed with Gizmos, and that you need to run out and buy any sort of Gizmo paraphernalia for her. If you do, please send a gift receipt. :)

I love "Gizmo" as an alias- I had a Gizmo stuffed animal when I was a kid that would make noise when you shook it. I promise not to shake the baby though. :) And make sure Mitch watches those movies ASAP- they're classics!
i know i don't get a vote but I don't like it!!!!!!!! it sounds like she is a gadget..I'd prefer a more cute feminine name....
Ok, I've finally been introduced to blogging and Pokmom insists I give my input. Thinking about "Gizmo"... Hmmm... has a connotation to it that doesn't tell me beautiful, adorable, sweet, female, baby... The "Gi" and "Mo" tie-in IS clever though... - Pokmom Lil Bro
