A Major Crisis

After work today, I came home, surfed the web for a while, talked to my sister, then got on the treadmill for my long run.  An hour later, I went into the bathroom to check what Mitch calls my "Tina Red Face" (my face turns abnormally red when I work out, and stays that way for about an hour) and to admire the sweat rings on my shirt, almost like my badge of honor for the 4.5+ miles I logged today.  (I realize this is strange behavior, but it makes me feel good.  Don't ask why.)  I was feeling tired, but proud of my cardio accomplishment when I noticed it.

A gray hair.

It was on the left side of my head.  It was shorter than the rest of my hair, sticking straight up amongst the rest of my sweat-soaked hairs.  Begging to be noticed.

I leaned closer, thinking that it was most certainly my imagination, or that the light must be hitting it wrong.

It is definitely gray.

I'm making an appointment with my hair colorist tomorrow.

4.5 miles? You're my hero. Keep running like that and who cares about a little grey hair. You're gonna look HOT(er)!

Whatever you do, DON'T PULL THE GREY HAIR! It is NOT an "old wive's tale" or an "urban legend" that if you pull one three will come to it's funeral. I have first hand knowledge that it is true and really happens!

And, I agree with The Mrs....who cares about grey hair if you can log 4.5 miles on the treadmill! Way to go!

Hey, even if you win the Ultimate Fatty-Fat Challenge, at least my hair's not grey. :)

And I logged 4.5 miles yesterday, too, AFTER a mile on the elliptical and a walk with Gus...... watch out Tina....

Auntie M - been thinking about you a lot lately. Chin up!

And yes, how could I forget the 30th car ballooning? The scary thing - I'll be 30 soon!
