At first I thought it was a snail. Then when I looked at the blown up picture I decided that was wrong. I'm going to guess that Gonzo's toenail finally fell off. Whatever it is, it made my stomach do a little icky-flip.
Yep, it's Gonzo's toenail - it fell off this week, and Grama JG saved it for me. Thankfully, her toenail is growing back and is starting to look a little closer to normal again.
